Since successful coaching is based on developing a good working relationship, this call also gives the coach and the potential client the opportunity to see if they can truly form a partnership. Like you, the coach is interested in success, so he/she doesn’t coach everyone who approaches him.
If you both decide to move ahead, your coach will provide you with some communication, values, and behavior assessment tools. These will enable the two of you to identify and reach your goals more quickly by better understanding what really motivates you.
